Reflecting SNUG’s commitment to technical excellence, all conference user submissions are peer reviewed by the SNUG Technical Committee. If your proposal is accepted, a Technical Committee member will work with you to help create and deliver an exceptional conference presentation.
1. Preliminary acceptance is based on the initial submission proposal.
2. Final acceptance into the conference program agenda will be determined after the first draft of the presentation is complete, reviewed and approved by the Technical Committee.
The SNUG Technical Committee reviews and accepts submissions based on criteria that include:
Call for Content Opens | September 28, 2023
Call for Content Closes | December 6, 2023
Preliminary Acceptance Notification | December 14, 2023
Draft Presentation Due | January 8, 2024
Draft Paper Due | January 8, 2024
Second Drafts Due | January 22, 2024
Final Acceptance & Presentation Spots Awarded | February 8, 2024
Final Presentation Due | March 5, 2024
SNUG Silicon Valley 2024 | March 20 - 21, 2024
SNUG presentation sessions are allotted a total of 45 minutes. We suggest authors plan on reserving the last 5-15 minutes for Q&A discussion with the audience.
Your SNUG presentation should be a “discussion” rather than a “reading” of the outline. While you should cover the same key points which appear in your outline and slide presentation, SNUG attendees will be most interested in hearing you describe your techniques, approach, and supported conclusions.
The SNUG team will communicate specific details and presentation times after final acceptances are made.
